I remember about 10-12 years ago, my SIL had this machine type scrubber thing that you washed your floors with. It "sort of looked" like a swifter (it had a long handle but with two, big, round scrubbers that moved in a circular motion on the end instead of the flat piece that you put the wet towelette on) I had used it a few times and I had to put water & cleaner on the floor and the you just plugged it in and just ran it over your floors like you would a vacuum. It worked like a charm!!! I LOVED it!!! (She doesn't have it anymore and doesn't remember where she ever got it from)

I'm looking for something similar to use on my kitchen and bathrooms floors. For the past 2-3 years, I have had a Shark Steamer Mop and while it worked ok (it finally broke and doesn't work anymore but) I'm looking to get something that has scrubbers instead of just the steam mop.

Do you know of a product like this and where I would buy it from? Thanks!!!

I have a Hoover Spin Scrub. It sprays the liquid, scrubs the floor and sucks it back up so when you are done washing the floor, like you would with a vacuum cleaner, your floor is almost dry. The only down side? Its noisy.

Yeah, I'm not too picky on the noise. Can I ask where you bought it and the cost?

Kohls I think. I have had it for almost two years. I have seen them at Costco too, but not recently. I know I paid around $150 or so. I think it is called Hoover floormate.

Oh thanks!!! Maybe when I get a coupon, I'll head down there a pick one up. :thumbsup2

I have the Hoover Floormate too and love it! I use it on my hardwood--I usually turn the scrubbers off for hardwood and just use water and vinegar and suck up the dirty water. I also use it on tile and I love the "feel" of the clean tile. In my mind, I think it's picking up the dirty water and not leaving it there to dry after I've pushed it around with a mop. If mine broke tomorrow, I'd be on the search for another. Good luck!

I've seen them at Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm considering getting myself one.
