Looking for a digital camera

I am looking for a good point & shoot camera for our upcoming trip. I currently have a conon powershot, but it eats batteries.

Any suggestions?

We got a Samsung SL420 just before our trip in Dec. It's got a 5x zoom and it's a pretty quick little camera. The pictures are very good. For a small point and shoot I'd highly recommend it. I got it at Walmart for about $130.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Fugi Finepix digital camera! It's a 10 mp and 10x OPTICAL zoom...this thing ROCKS!!! It's still small enough to fit in my back pocket if I need to! And it takes awesome pics and has a recharge ion battery so you don't have to buy batteries all the time. Check it out...

And I did TONS of research...optical zoom was a big issue for me, MP are too but like you're really going to blow up a huge pic...10 mp is big enough...I wanted zoom...
