I will start booking my PSs in 2 weeks time for our trip in December and just wondering which restaurants and characters are the 'best dressed' for Christmas for character breakfasts.

We will be arriving late Dec 26, so our first full day will be Dec 27. We have been to Crystal Palace before but I'm wondering if the characters are dressed in Xmas attire, if not, which would be the best Christmassy Character Breakfast to do?

Thanks :D

I'd be interested too. Will be there before Christmas and having a tough time decided on which character dining we should do. If there's a special one, then that's the one I'd like to plan for. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if your planning on going to the parks, but Donald's Breakfastsaurus in Animal Kingdom is doing a Christmas themed character breakfast every morning starting on Nov.29
I was told when I booked our PS for Dec.1, that it will be Santa Goofy, and the rest of the characters in Christmas attire.
Hope this helps!:p

We went to Chef Mickeys last year, the week before Christmas. The characters were NOT dressed for Christmas...they were wearing their normal Chef Mickey's attire.

FYI -

I just made my ressie yesterday for Donald's for 12/8 and the CMs are being very tight lipped about the Christmas theme. The DIS board is definitely saying Christmas theme, but if you make a ressie and ask the CM, they may tell you they don't know that you are talking about. I sure do hope that it is true, that's the reason we are doing it (but if not, that's ok because you rarely see Donald anyways) , but remember to take everything you read on these boards with a grain of salt, because if the rumor doesn't pan out, you might be dissappointed!

Good luck ;)

Honestly, when I made our Dec.1 PS the CM confirmed to me that it is supposed to be a Christmas themed breakfast.I made our PS early, right at the 120 day mark.Maybe I just got lucky and got the details before the CM's were told not to talk about it much? Or maybe she was just half asleep and just being agreeable?(I called at 7am)I guess there's really no way of knowing for sure, but I got the info for it off of WDWIG,and I have yet to find them wrong about anything. They seem to always have the inside track about things.Lets hope so anyway!!:)

carone0318,
Just for the record the people on this board are right 98/100 times when it comes to a dispute with CRO. I think they hire those people right off the street and they know nothing about Disney. The folks here and at WDWIG are far more informed than the average CRO agent.

I am not disputing your percentages, but technically the boards and wdwig are not "official" and if Disney doesn't do something that the boards said they were going to do, you really can't get upset. I booked the breakfast on the assumption from the various sources, but again, there is that 2% chance and I can live with that, but there are some who think that these boards and wdwig are official and that what they say goes and there is always that chance that Disney may change their minds. Until it is officially announced on the Disney site, I say, take everything you read with a grain of salt.

Fingers crossed for the Christmas theme.....;)

I think there might be a Christmas Breakfast, I just hope it isn't a seperate booking. I have found WDWIG to be wrong, nothing is official till Disney says.

I read about the AK Christmas theme breakfast in either a Disney Club mailing or an AP mailing - I cannot remember right now - but it was a Disney source.

I will see if I can find it.

I'm taking my chances and booking anyway. If it doesn't work out, oh well. You can always cancel later when things become more definite. We've always skipped AK during Christmas since there is always so much going on elsewhere and I'm sure a lot of other people do the same. I think it's a great way to get people to go there!! I'm game!!
