Leaving in 9 days and we are thinking of adding a character meal, probably breakfast but could do a lunch or dinner. Me ,DW,DS's 2/9

We have been to AK and Ohana for Brkfst and liked them both, I am just looking for some other options . I checked for chef mickeys and thats booked my whole week.

Where would you go or would you pass cuz we been there done that?

It's fun and beats waiting in line for autographs.
My DS8 like CRT which was suprising -not for the princesses but because he got to see the inside of the castle -so totally boy there and he got a sword. I didn't get it but he enjoyed. We probably wouldn't go back every trip as it is pricey and we opted to pay oop vs. the dp. We ate there for dinner becuase it was easier to get in than breakfast.

He loves chef mickey's for breakfast. We've never done any other meals so I don't know if it's worth the try for a different meal.

He also liked the Garden Grill in the land at Epcot. It has pluto mickey and chip and dale in farm attire. We went for an early dinner. The food was good, served family style, and they brough more of what we wanted and what he wanted. For kids they have mac/cheese brocolli, and chicken leg and weet potato fries. He preffered the mac/cheese- probably stouffers- and they brough him a large bowl for 2nds. The adult food was pleasing to everyone. The salad was really fresh and not so typical tossed salad. I would gpo for that again.

I would try calling every day til you leave and try for Chef Mickeys. When our kids were young (they are now 20 and 15), it was always our first meal at the world. Good luck, and keep trying.

Another one to look into is Akershus in Norway. I think that one books fast too, but worth a shot. I also would keep trying for Chef Mickeys Breakfast. It is our fav. GOOD LUCK!!

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Tusker House in AK. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner character meals now. I would definitely check it out!

Our favorites are Crystal Palace in MK, Akershus in Epcot, and Tusker House in AK. We found that Chef Mickeys always rushes us out too quickly and it is not as relaxin to eat there. Garden Grill gave us a good Mickey experience, but my kids did not like the food there. We got free dining, so we were just out the tip, fortunately.

We had a good character meal (for lunch) at Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios! The food was just okay but the characters were the best we've ever had during a character meal! They came around to the table several times, took the time to take several pictures each time! It was the most relaxed atmosphere of any character meal we've done!! :thumbsup2

What about cape may at the beach club? I haven't been there in a few years, but will be there in September. We had good character experience at tusker house. My DD was at the "I'm too big for characters" stage - she was 7- but when Daisy came over she was thrilled!!! One of the highlights of the trip for me:cloud9:
