Looking for a career change- any current Disney Characters out there to help?

I'm new here and this is my first post. Like all of you, I am a huge Disney fan and my dream is to work where dreams come true! I've built up the courage to go and audition this year (when they post another need for female face characters) but I'm still building up the courage to be prepared for the big move should the Disney gods shine on me and accept me! I'm older than most in this position but I get asked on the regular what grade I'm in. Maybe that will be sufficient? So, here's my question (s)... what is it like to audition at WDW? If they give you the green light, how long do you have to relocate? Where do you live (and is there a stipend)? I've heard many pay ranges, what's the one you've heard of most recently? Have you ever heard of spouses coming along and working at Disney? My husband is a firefighter/emt with a degree in criminal justice. We're interested in seeing if he could get the same job near/at disney as well. I appreciate all help that y'all can give me. Thanks so much!

I don't have any specifics, but check out glassdoor.com. They have pay ranges, interview processes, etc. for all sorts of companies, Disney included.
