The DIS podcast team announced in their latest podcast that their next Podcast cruise will be December 12, 2010.

I was wondering if anyone here was planning on going and needed to find a roommate. I know it's very preliminary, but I'd kind of like to know.

I'd really like to go on the cruise, but it will depend on the price of course.

IM me if you like.

Thanks!

And I thought I was far in the future being booked through Sept 2010. :) I'll be on the WB TA that month.

It looks like the first podcast cruise went off without a hitch and everyone had a great time. I hope I can make it on the next one.

As an FYI, I requested an outside cabin at the rate of $703.92 per person with two people in a cabin.

Thanks.

Hi Mike-

I will be on that cruise as well. Not because of the pocast, I usually go around that time to see the ship all decked out for the Holidays. Gotta see the Wonder all decorated one last time before she heads out West....

I will be on the WB TA too! Looking forward to doing that one again.

That's great. There's a whole discussion board set up for that sailing in case you're interested. I look forward to meeting you then.

We are on that cruise, as well (also doing the last 10-night Med. right before it). Have you joined the meet thread for the WBTA? (I haven't been following the boards that closely the last several weeks...but I couldn't remember if I've seen you post over there or not.)

I just got back from the first podcast cruise. DP didn't want to go. He thought I was nuts spending that amount of time with people I only knew over the internet and he isn't into Disney that much.
I ended up rooming with another DISer in pretty much the same situation. Everything worked out wonderfully. It was reminiscent of Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison in the Odd Couple. We had a category 5 stateroom.
Met some great people on board that I can't wait to see again in the up and coming months and on the second podcast cruise.
The second time around, I am planning on an inside room. The veranda was nice; however, for the amount of time I spent in my stateroom, I felt it was a waste. I think I will also cruise solo on PCC 2.0. Only because I know if I were to get a roommate like myself, instead of the sweet ultra compact tidy one I got this time, there would be no room to breath. And where would I put my tiaras with someone else's luggage taking up all that space?:happytv:

Glad you had a great time, Todd. I priced out a single inside cabin and it's not that much more than a what I was getting for sharing an outside. I don't know if I could spend 4 nights without at least a window, though. I do like to spend time in the cabin. I'll think about it. We still have lots of time!!!

There is also a thread on the PCC 2.0 Sub Forum that is specific to roommate searches....but you would know that, since you started it.....

I, too, was thinking of the Podcast cruise next year but the WB TA is too close and there's no more time off from work at that point.

I listened to some of the podcast recorded on the cruise and it sounded like a great time was had by all.

For those of you going on the second podcast cruise, wishing you all a great trip!
Michael
