We are staying at POFQ and I want to do some sort of breakfast one morning before we go to Epcot. The Akershus one doesn't really do anything for me - the food is not what we like.
Any suggestions? Something easy to get to by bus in the morning without having to transfer all over the place and then go to Epcot easily.
Not Chef Mickeys - we are doing dinner there one night and would like something different. We have done 1900 Park Fare and loved it, but would like to try something new.
Any suggestions? Is there another breakfast in Epcot that I am missing?

How about Cape May at the Beach Club? After your meal, it's an easy walk to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.

I second the Cape May Cafe... it's one of our favorites!

Ohanas Character Breakfast or Kona Cafe... on the monorail line would be easy to jump back to Epcot

Oh yah....I totally forgot about Boatwrights!

I would love to do Cape May, but getting there in the morning is going to be a pain - we would have to hop a bus to DTD or something and then hop over to the resort - and at 8am that is a huge pain in the butt.

And Poly - Ohana's sounds good too!

I don't think DTD buses would be running first thing in the morning. You could take the bus to DHS and walk or boat over to BC. The most convenient way (if you don't have a car) would be to take a cab.

Breakfast is a tough one because we usually keep it very simple as our focus is getting to the parks to beat the crowds.

From POFQ you will almost certainly have to double hop on the buses to get from resort to resort, unless you go to a monorail resort (TTR then monorail).

I would just grab something at Boatwright's and be done with it.

I have to say my family was not impressed with Boatwrights for breakfast. We ended up eating at the QS at POR and cancelled our second breakfast ressie there. We tried Cape May cafe and liked it. We did, however, have to take a bus to MK, and once we got there, the CM found us another bus to drive us directly over to the restaurant. All the Cm's were all very accomodating to getting us where we needed to be, but I definately recommend leaving yourself about 45-60 minutes from time at bus stop to get anywhere when you involve resort to resort dining!

you could also walk over to Boatwright's at POR

I Agree!!
We ate there last month while staying at POFQ and love
the food for breakfast. We had excellent Service also.
I had the French Toast with Cinnimon and Sugar (very good-
and not to heavy).
My DS had the Stuffed French Toast (stuffed with Bananas)
he loved it so much he is still taking about it and I'm trying to
make it at home.
Sorry I can't remember what my DH had--I'm thinking the
Breakfast platter--with eggs, bacon ect.
We all cleaned our plates.:thumbsup2

Our Families Favorite Breakfast is at The POLY: "Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast"
We love it so much we have to eat there every trip.
We love the food and Characters.
It is also easy to hop onto the Monorail after eating to head to MK or Epcot.
