There are tons of communities in Kissimmee (and area) that have 3 and 4 bedroom rentals. I would like a 3 bedroom rental for a winter week that has a spa (hot tub), washer/dryer, parking at the door (or attached garage!), pool on-site, not too far away, etc. I also want cost to be under $100 per night.

I believe Emerald Isle and Terra Verde fit the bill. Are there others that I should look at? There are SO MANY, that I would appreciate help narrowing the choices. Windsor Palms and Windsor Hills do not have spas, though I think the splash pools serve as spas.

Since we're thinking winter, I am willing to heat the hot tub, but not wishing to heat a whole pool for the week. If the weather is warm, we'll walk to the community pool.

Thanks!

Windsor Hills is awesome and you can find great deals there! We stayed there in May and it was AWESOME!!!! Only about 1 1/2 miles to WDW entrance! Great pool and many. many places to choose from..condos, townhomes, pool homes. Submit and inquiry at windsorhillsrent.com ( I think that's the right site) and you'll get at least 50 responses with there prices! Oh I'm not sure about individual hot tubs but the one by the main pool is VERY HOT!

The Emerald Island 3 & 4 bedroom town homes would not have a spa, right? From my understanding, they don't have the screened in patio area like the 3 bedroom townhomes at Windsor Palms & Windsor Hills, so there would not be a place for a spa. Am I correct? I suppose there could be a 3-4 bedroom house at Emerald Island that would meet the criteria, but I suspect the price may be higher.

Some (at least a few) of the Windsor Palms town homes have a spa/hot-tub instead of the splash pool. We've stayed here: http://www.floridavilla-uk.com/town_ind.htm and really enjoyed the spa/hot-tub! :thumbsup2 We stayed there Nov 2005 and it was under $100 a night.

Good luck with your search! :goodvibes

Yes the town homes at EI do not have private splash pools/spas.

Sorry if I did not give the correct answer to the original question.

So, that leaves me with 3 bedroom condo/townhouse in Windsor Hills and Terra Verde. That is fine. If anyone has neighborhoods to add to my list, I'll check them out. I hadn't realized the some Windsor Hills had spas instead of the splash pools - thanks for pointing that out!

I'll get going on these 2 places.

Hi Deb. My question was definitely not meant to correct you in any way. :goodvibes

I haven't actually stayed at Emerald Island yet - we'll be there for the first time this Dec., so I've just been going off of pictures. Thanks for confirming that the EI town homes would not have spas or splash pools. We're looking forward to our stay there! The absence of a spa is just fine with us, but it seemed to be a determining factor to the OP, so I just wanted to clarify.

Windsor Palms? Did you drop it from your list for a reason? I provided a link to a place we've stayed there that may meet your criteria. A condo at Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills will not meet your criteria of parking right outside or having a spa. You would park in a central parking lot and may be closer or farther from your condo depending on where the condo is located in the building. There is also no way that the condo would have a spa as the only outside area is a small balcony.

Where is Terra Verde? Is it new? I have lots of experience with this area, but haven't looked into Terra Verde yet.

Please always correct me some ones vacation decision might depend on it and where you spend your time and $$$ is very important. I think I was not paying attention to what they were originaly asking. I hope all is cleared up.

Doing a web search, it seems there are spas or splash pools at Windsor Palms 3 bedroom townhomes. Thanks for the tip.

That does seem to be the catch - need a townhome at Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills, or Terra Verde to get the spa or splash pool. I think the spa or splash pool would be enough to heat - plus, all the places have great community pools.

As for the location of Terra Verde - it is about 10 miles southeast of Windsor Hills - I'm sure someone else knows better about its true location.

Glad to hear you're finding some good possibilities! We've stayed at Windsor Palms many times and have always been pleased.

Sounds like Terra Verde is too far away for us, so thanks for the location info! :)

You can look in Indian Creek, Rolling hills, Indian Ridge, Indian Ridge Oaks,
Oak Island Cove.....
The list goes on....

It seems like Indian Creek and Rolling Hills do not fit the original criteria of hot tub/spa or smaller splash pool with 3 bedrooms. The other places have some hot tubs/spas, but usually with a large pool. I continue to concentrate on Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, and Terra Verde. Any easy ways to do searches for open spots at Windsor Palms and Terra Verde? That service from windsorhillsrent.com is nice.

Have you considered a 4 bedroom home? We were thinking 3 bedroom because there's 5 of us, but I broadened my search a bit to include 4 bedroom homes because they have larger pools with spas. I was able to get a 4 bedroom for only $200 more than the best price we had on a townhome (and still less than some of the 3 bedroom offers). It may be more space than you need, but if you'd like both the spa and the pool, it's a good choice. I'd be happy to provide you with a link to the home we're renting if you'd like, just PM me. It's in Indian Creek -- we definitely got better offers from Indian Creek and Windsor Palms than we did Windsor Hills, probably because it's the newest.
