We are looking for a 2-bedroom hotel. Any suggestions?

a house would probably be cheaper?

does it have to be a hotel?

If you are staying for a week -then a timeshare should be cheaper. timeshares are condo - many have 2-bedrooms. they are generally (not always) resorts.

We had a 2 bedroom at the Staybridge Suites on IDrive. It was really nice, like an apartment with 2 baths, a small kitchen, livingroom, etc. It was only around $139 a night, I've seen them for even less if you can find a deal on their website. It had a decent pool and free breakfast. Hardly a gourmet buffet, but enough to get us going in the morning. There is one in Lake Buena Vista too, but I haven't been to that one.

I'll second the renting a home. You can get a nice 3 BR rental within 10-15 minutes of WDW for under $800 (total with taxes included) with your own private pool.

Guess I should have stated that we only need a place to stay for 4 nights, 4 adults.

We've been to both Staybridge Suites last year and Sheraton Vistana this past Dec. Both were 2 bed, 2 bath suites. Staybridge was a special of $99 a night with a cont. breakfast (which was not so good) and Vistana was $140 a night. Staybridge was fine, but I loved Vistana!(Lakes Section) Good luck in your choice.

I think Homewood Suites has 2-bedroom units.

But I'd also vote for the timeshare route. We got a 2-bed, 2-bath huge unit at Orbit One for $261 for the week through Skyauction. Even if you only stayed for 4 nites, your per nite cost would be $65.

There are also 2-bed condos at Windsor Palms. They start at $75/nite at closesttodisney.com and can be found for less. Check vrbo.com.

go to skyauction.com and get a villa, great prices

Check the Residence Inns in the area. They usually have two-bedroom suites available. Also, we stayed once at the Doubletree Suites on Hwy. 192 east of WDW several years ago and they had two-story units with two bedrooms.

I would go to the websites of both Doubletree and Residence Inn (Marriott) and do a search. Both of these options provide full kitchen and living area as well.
