We stayed in the Garden Wing about a month ago and the walk was not a big deal at all! The rooms were nice, clean and was very quiet (expect for some noisy neighbors one night). We would definitely stay there again! Can't beat walking to MK from CR along with the convenience of the monorail! Only complaint, if I was being picky, about the Garden Wing is that the carpet down the hallways really needed to be replaced.

We are booked for our first CR stay at the end of this year. As a pp said, the CR has never felt "disney" to me, hence the reason for not having stayed there before. But we wanted to try something new, so we decided to give the CR a try. We've stayed at the Poly and GF and we love being on the monorail, so I think the CR will be a fun change. The decor doesn't do anything for me, but hopefully I will love it as I do all of the other resorts we've tried. I bit the bullet and booked a TPV as I've read so many great things about it.....it will be nice watching the fireworks from our balcony . Good luck deciding, and even though I can't offer advice from having stayed there, I think the CR will be a good fit for what you're looking for .
