I'm looking for a camera to take everyday pictures, fireworks, and concert pictures. I have a kodak easyshare cx7530. It's a 5 mega pixel. I'm looking for something that will take the type of pictures that I described. I also take videos with my camera. Price is a considerable factor also. Any ideas?

What is it that your present camera does not do well, that you'd like to "upgrade" on your next?

Concert photos are bad, no matter if they are in night sighting, general, or action and fireworks don't even take.

This is the type of camera I've been looking for.. what you described as what you want.

I bought a Sony DSC-W90 on Thursday and have been snapping pictures and playing with it ever since. I still haven't made up my mind. But in general.. it doesn't do bad!

A friend of mine has the Casio Elixim and it takes awesome pictures. He used it to take some pictures at a concert he and his wife went to and they turned out pretty good. Some of his shots look really good that I thought he used an slr camera. The models currently run from low 200s to very high 300s.

Cameras good at taking concert photos tend to be expensive. It would be very easy to spend $10,000 on a setup. How much money are you willing spend?

I don't want to spend more than 300. I know people who have been able to spend about that much and their pictures show out good. I don't have a lot of money to spend so.
