Well I promised I would let you know what happened at her it is.
Our date started at 11 am and ended at 10 pm.
I met her at a local Borders store and we left for the Museum of Science and Industry and had a great time. We bought each other one of those molded platics figures and were able to see everything in 3 hours.
Once we left we headed to a resturant called Houlihan's and had a really nice dinner. By the time we were done, the rain had let up and we walked for a couple hours at the outdoor mall chating, holding hands and enjoying each others company.
After that we took a drive to a park and chatted, held hands and
and
. At 9:45 I took her back to her car and we had the longest good buy kiss I have ever seen. Neither one of us wanted the other to leave, but we knew we needed to.
I'm happy to say that after this very very successful date, we decided to start dating as boyfriend/girlfriend and our next date is next Saturday when we are planing to go see a movie and get a bit to eat. We are ready to see where this goes, but we both believe that this could be the start of a very long relationship and possibly the one we have been waiting for.
This date went better than either one of us had expected, and we really like each other alot. I think that what made this work so well was the fact that we both had talked IM, E-mail and by phone a bunch last week and already knew a ton when we actually saw each other.
The great thing is that I wish I still had her in my arms right now. I mean she has the softest hands I have every felt and the softest lips I have ever seen.
By the way she loved the single, purple rose I gave and was floored when I gave it to her. She did tell me later that she was very nervous about our date and couldn't sleep at all Saturday night. So it seem that I wasn't the only one. I do now know that her favorite flowers are white roses and Lilies. I plan on sending her a dozen white roses to her office for delivery on Tuesday.
