I finally got a brand new ticker only 88 days to go only dark cloud on the horizon is that the plane is full when I tried to pre-book outbound seating on VA I can't get any seats together so it won't let me do it on-line and says we will have to wait till check in (thankfully it is ok for return trip) I am going to ring them in the week to see if they can do anything fingers crossed it will all be ok because if DS has to sit on his own (highly unlikely I know) he will freak

not long to go Just remember only 60% of seats are open for pre-booking, more will open up at 24 hours before departure if you do online checkin.

I can't get 3 seats together outbound either,but i did ring VA today and they said 40% of seats will be released 24 hrs before the flight.

9th August from Manchester. There was about a dozen seats all single and scattered around, nowhere near each other. Strangely the return flight has absolutely loads of empty rows I'm not unduly worried. We're on the plane and heading in the right direction and that will do for me

Great news on the holiday We're there 13th to 27th! Also they won't let your DS sit on his own if he's young anyway! Last trip I had prebooked our seats but they had gone when we checked in but the checkin desk spoke to someone and they opened up more seats so we got 4 in a row, so you'll be fine!
