Not the best picture because the flash kept hitting the glass but here's what I did with my Minnie marathon stuff. Its currently the only thing on the wall next to my treadmill but it is now offically my Wall of Fame (with many more frames, pics and medals) to come!!

Very nice.

Congratulations on doing the Minnie! What was your time (or average per mile)?

I was right under 15 mins/mile which is what I trained for. I am not a runner but do the walk/jog combo. The Minnie was my first race so now that I have that under by belt so to speak, I am working on getting my time down for the next one.

That's great! I am training to do a race. I just don't know what the Boss (DW) will allow me to do. I have to make sure that we have the money to cover the expense of the trip and not take away from the bills and the family. I would love to do the TOT 13k but I don't think it will happen this year. But I am hoping to be able to do the Circle of Life 5k.

Stay tuned. More to follow after these training sessions.

Very cool! I have to admit I just put my stuff in a box in the closet, but now (after seeing what you did) I'm thinking of putting it in my Mickey Room.

Wow! That looks great Suzanne! I've been trying to decide what to do with my medal and race bib. Hope it's okay if I borrow your idea :)

SamSam...of course you should display your medal and pictures. I think we ALL should be very proud of ourselves. I saw no quitters on the course that morning, even the lady infront of me near the All Star McDonalds who fell and broke her tooth wanted to keep going but the medics wouldn't let her (atleast not while I was in the area).

Of course its OK, make sure you post a pic when you are done! I'd love to see yours too.

I love it!:) :)

I have my bibs from the Minnie 5k and 15K taped to one of those blank signs that they had at the expo for people to write on. I hung it outside my cubicle at work. I wrote my time's on the bib.

We didn't finish too far apart!

Wow, that's great!:thumbsup2 I love that idea and the fact that it's next to your treadmill, what a wonderful motivator that must be. Where did you find the background paper?

Suzanne,

I think it's great. What are you using for the background?

That looks great. Glad you are planning on adding more pictures to your wall as well.

Very nice! I love that you've got it where you can actually enjoy seeing this and be motivated by your accomplishment(s). Fantastic!

If it's the same one that I have - those are 12x12 scrapbooking pages that they were giving out at the Minnie Expo. I picked mine up from the photographer who was taking pictures of people with their bibs.

I have mine (somewhere :rotfl: ) which I can scan and send to you if you wanted to print some out for yourself.

Of course its OK, make sure you post a pic when you are done! I'd love to see yours too.

I will definitely do that! It might be a while - I still have to locate the background paper. And I'm really slow at these kinds of projects ...:goodvibes

Looks great! How fun that you've captured your first big race. You can do more races, you can do longer races, you can get faster times, but I bet nothing will ever put as big a smile on your face as looking at that first frame on your wall! :)

I love it! Good job. I need to do something with my stuff!
