My son the cross country runner has been named athlete of the week by not one, but two large newspapers. I'm so happy for him. It's good after several seasons of injuries.

Thats awesome. You must be so proud of your son. Look into any scholarships you think he could be eligible for. Everything counts when it comes to college costs. Wish my ds were a little more sports minded. Tell your ds to keep up the hard work.

Injuries are the worst, DD hurt her knee and it's only the second day of Basketball practice, good thing it's not her first sport.

For the local people it's in The Atlantic City Press today and the Courier Post on Saturday. The press link doesn't have the photo. I'm waiting ot see if the whole thing gets posted on the team web site then I'll post the link. I'm so happy for him. But the down side is he has a twin brother who is having to live in the shadow of this. Son has received considerable press coverage over the past couple of weeks. I'm trying to put together something to send to college coaches today. Supposed to create something called an athletic resume.
