Look like APs are coming back on disneyworld.eu

Apologies if this has already been shared:

It looks like the Disneyworld page for Europeans and UK is about to release APs for Disney world (https://www.disneyworld.eu/passes/index/). You can see them and even update the price by signing in a DVC (on the US page you get a stitch on this page). Unfortunately when you go to buy them it goes to the experience-updates page that you get when you try to buy a pass on disneyworld.disney.go.com.

it even comes with a warning: "Check the Disney Park Pass system to see if your desired theme park reservation is available before purchasing your ticket or Annual Pass."

My uneducated guess is they are preparing the website for an upcoming AP release.

So - if you have purchased park passes already, would they let you upgrade to APs? We have 3 trips planned this year and really want APs. (First trip is in 2 weeks, then October and December.)

At the moment it won't let you buy the passes, you can just see them. but if they start selling them everywhere you should be able to upgrade your tickets at Guest Services in the parks. there is a sticky post in this subform on how to upgrade. If they only sell them on the European website then I don't think you will be able to upgrade because upgrades are done in person.

We have been discussing this over on the News Roundup Board. It appears as this was a glitch. One website that I had followed up with, reported an official comment from Disney. Here’s the article:

Disney World Annual Passes are NOT on sale in the UK

I agree that this is a glitch., in that they didn't intend to release it yet. But I take it as hopeful that they are planning to release something soon, because of the disclaimer that says "Check the Disney Park Pass system to see if your desired theme park reservation is available before purchasing your ticket or Annual Pass." this isn't just an artifact of the old website that became visible again, because this is new copy referencing new annual pass purchases and the park reservation system. This text would have to approve by legal and coms so I would guess we should see something.

This likely a web developer accidentally pushing something from the development sandbox to production too early.

WDW has had that same disclaimer about park passes since last summer, including the mention of APs:

Check the Disney Park Pass system to see if your desired theme park reservation is available before purchasing your ticket or Annual Pass.
