Sent an email a couple of weeks ago to guest services - saying the same things that have been said many times over on this board about need for AP room rates within 60 days. Noted that Southwest is offering great rates on newsletter and DING - and how many of us are plugged in to this information, sitting in the snow by the computer with AP in hand just looking for a reasonable excuse to visit the mouse.... How the room marketing program was out of synch with the other variables in the equation - namely SW offering short term incentives to buy - go - now that could not be coupled easily with best room rate program, yada, yada.
Anyhoooow - the nice lady said that they were addressing the program - it may not be exactly what we want it to be, but they were definitely offering SOMETHING as an alternative to best rate - will be published in Mickey Monitor in Feburary and on disney.go passholder section just as soon as they can get all the systems / processes in synch - possibly as soon as today.
Just FYI - figured someone who has more time (and more access to internet) can keep the AP holders posted.....
