It's only October 10th!!! :scared1::scared1:

They are saying that west central and central MN can expect "several" inches of this stuff tomorrow. They are already reporting at least an inch on the ground this morning. This is about a month or more EARLIER then normal. We have had really strange weather this summer/fall.

Not a good sign. Makes me very nervous seeing something like that so close to home.

ugh ! Keep it away from here !! I don't want any of that stuff, I'm better of with our rain !

Ughhhhhhhhhh.... I am dreading it! This is too early.... reminds me of the year we all had to wear our winter coats under our Halloween costumes to go trick or treating. I was the chubbiest looking angel! Hopefully it will be a mild winter, I'm not really up for a lot of snow this year.

We're headed up to the Cities today and where I am right now, nothing is even wet. LOL

I'm glad we didn't get any of that overnight...and that it stays away until we're safely home. :goodvibes

The Farmer's Almanac is predicting a very cold, snowy winter for the Midwest and a warmer than normal winter for the southeast. It looks like both may be coming true.

The roads are fine. They said that some of the ramps and overpasses are slippery. It is only 28° here right now. The sun is starting to poke out too so this will be gone in an hour or so. Hopefully your ride up is easy. What are you coming up to the cities for?

My grass and driveway are completely covered with over an inch of snow! We are under a winter weather advisory and they said on the news that the western part of the city has had over 6inches already. WAY too early for me!

Well, I can't get you a picture yet but we have about 2 inches on the deck in N.MN. Roads are slippery and the wind makes it 13 degrees. Lovely day. Snowmobilers are drooling.

Hmm...I wonder what we in Kentucky will face.

OP, I bet that was a shock, but I always love the first snow. It brings out the kid in me.

OP - You have a nice backyard. :goodvibes

The snow looks odd combined with the trees with leaves that are still mostly green!

I wish that would come this way...we could go for some temps in the 70's...it is in the high 90's and with the humidity it feels like 105-107 degrees here in southwest Fl

We has a little bit of snow overnight in CO too. It's still snowing a bit and it's super cold, 21 degrees. When DS came downstairs the first thing he said was "just what I've been dreaming for." It's supposed to be in the 20's later this evening for the big Rockies baseball game. I will glady watch on TV in my nice warm house.

We woke up to alot more snow than that! We have several inches! They said a 1/2 inch on the news last night. They were wrong!

I thought I would share a photo from 10/4/2009 Bend, OR

Way to EARLY!!!

Makes me wish I was in Disney!

Last year a week before Halloween we had a foot. I am surprised it hasn't snowed here yet.

You can keep that white stuff right there!! We don't need it!!

We haven't even started our harvest yet, normally by this time of the fall the soybeans are done and they are well into corn. Haven't even started the soybeans yet, it's been too wet and rainy. If this weather keeps up we'll still be harvesting at Christmas, when normally we're done by Halloween or a few days after. :sad2:

My cousin in Montana sent me pictures of his place last week, with about a foot of snow already! Yikes!! It's too early!!

Hey Peg, if you happen back on this thread....what does the FA say about Southern California...just curious. :confused3

We actually do get a winter and it is generally Jan&Feb and it does get cold. I mean no frosts or freezes but cold and we do put the heat on. We also have rain those months. I am actually going to OLD NAVY today as their winter vests are all $15.00. :goodvibes
