Yes, and she made thousands of $$$$, they totally redid her main floor, as that's where most of the filming was done. She's out of her house for a total of 2 wks. She gets to go back on Monday, and they will redecorate anyway she wants it. All the neighbors made money from the filming as well. They have to pay you. We got money for the cables being on the property. The person who lives right across from the house got paid $400 a night to keep his lights on all night. They even offered to put some people up in hotels and transport them back and forth. We don't have any hotels in our small town.

Ryan was very nice. He introduced himself, as I did. He said thanks for letting us film in your town. I said thanks for coming here! My DH wouldn't come outside. I had a pad and pen in my pocket and forgot all about getting his autograph!

Apparently, there's a picture of him and Rachel in todays Toronto Sun, but I can't find it online.

Just an update, my neighbor invited me in to her house where the filming was done for his movie. I took some pictures of the set and she also gave me some beer bottles they used in the movie as a keepsake. They come back to her house on Monday to clean up.

That's really neat! I'd love it if they filmed a movie in our area but I'm not sure I'd want to see any movie that needed our area for a backdrop! LOL

How exciting! I never saw him until the Notebook and really liked him in it. I'm glad to hear he is nice! There is nothing worse that meeting someone and they turn out to be a crud!


Offer him some Hot chocolate or something!
