look at this wedding dress!

This is the Queen of Diamonds dress and the one from that site I would pick as a wedding dress but my favorites were the Enchantress and Lady Jolene. I would have loved to have lived in the times when I could have dressed like that.

If there are no sleeves, I think gloves are a must. They just make the whole thing look more "pulled together". It is pretty, but I'm not crazy about the back. My dress was great, but I should have worn gloves!!!!

ravengirl, that dress looks very much like a Renaissance style wedding dress IMO and I like it a lot. But then dresses with color worked in appeal to me.

I must check out this website!

This one is also my favourite, but I know I would not even be able to fit my right thigh into this concoction! the snow white gown is also quite snazzy!
glad everyone is enjoying them.
Cheers!

I adored "themed" dresses......that site is very very cool!

Okay, now I want to adopt another daughter! Just to dress her for a wedding!!!!!!!

Any one interested in being adopted?!!!!!!!!! Only stipulation is that you have to marry my son, do the wedding my way and live your lives your way!!!

lol Rae.....now you know why there are so many wedding planners! Its just fun! :)

I always envisioned my daughter's wedding to be at the Rosewood Mansion, her coming down the stairs (huge staircase with a stained glass window at the landing) then being whisked away to Church in a white carriage and two white horses.

Yup, that was my dream for my little girl!!! And my dear very grounded friend told me, "Rae, every mother dreams of her daugher's wedding day then most of them do just the opposite!!"

Not going to be the poster child since I eloped!!!!!

Cyn, that does look like a fairy tale bridal gown. How pretty.

Are you planning a wedding?

lol....nope Nativetxn.... I was looking at Marla's dress from the Discars and this gown was on the site that she found her dress on - I just thought it was gorgeous!

How old is your son? Does he love WDW? Does he like to cook? Does he make fun of someone who has gained weight over the last 8 years?

Just curious :) HEE HEE HEE

CynJ,
Hi! What website did you find the dress on?
Cheers!

jamsmom - He cooks, he cleans, he even irons!!! He's 23, works too much/too hard - so WDW could be a good place for him to vacation. Plus he gets 1/2 of my DVC points when DH and I go to the Great Cruise Ship in the sky!

Interested? Maybe I should put him out on E-bay?!

Oh shucks, Rae, I am TOO old for him. He sounds delightful, though.

Of course, I have a 12 year old son (13 in July) that comes with me :)

I am sure he will choose a most incredible wife someday that will be more than willing to let you plan her wedding :)

:o Ala-ka-zoola-bip-itee-boola (sp?)...Just thought I would break into a little song and dance #.

Very pretty dress!!

I lucked out. She doesn't like me and well, I give up - he loves her, she loves him - he'll always be our son, but he's going to be her husband, so when he makes his bed, he can sleep in it.

Tom and I decided early on that we would teach all our children the same things - housekeeping, groceries, cooking, simple auto and household repairs - that way they would be independent adults when their time came to leave the nest.

There is an old, old ethnic joke about the woman who had two children...a son and a daughter...she went to visit her friend and started complaining, "Ohhh, my poor son, he has to cook dinner, clean the house and work all day long while his lazy wife sits and watches TV. She won't even give him any children. The lazy thing!"
Then she started talking about her daughter, "But ohhh, my daugher - now she married well! Her husband works all day then comes home to make her dinner and even cleans house. He doesn't want her to have children yet because I'm too young to be a Grandmother! What a gem he is!"

Guess it all depends where you fall into the grand scheme of things!!!
