Sunday 25th September
The park opened at 9am and im afraid I can’t remember what time we arrived.
Dh wanted to go on tower of terror so we headed there 1st and then ds (4 remember) decided he wanted to have a go as well
I did my best to put him off but he was having none of it so while the brave men went on that me and dd went to see beauty and the beast.
I really enjoyed this show, we had a great seat right near the front in the middle and ellie was transfixed all the way through.
We met the men outside after and ds declared the ride was brilliant and his official favourite ride
and I lost count of how many times on the trip he went on it!!!!! We now headed for the great movie ride………it was the gangster version (I decided to try for the cowboy version another day but we never managed to get on this ride again!)
We then saw the Muppets 3d show And did the star wars ride; now as I am terrible at flying I thought I might hate this ride but it was ok (not a favourite ride but I would do it again)
We ate our lunch at the backlot express, I was wise to the dodgy kids meals on offer by now and we used our credits to purchase 4 adult meals
We all had the cheeseburgers and fries and then we had chocolate mousse (that was delicious) again no total price cos I forgot
After lunch we headed for the backlot tour, I enjoyed this in DLP so we go on this very time. We got chatting to a very nice couple in the queue who kept the kids amused by taking photos of them!
As we came out of here the new show (lights moteurs action) was about to start so we dashed there. I was gasping for a cold drink and asked dh to go and get a couple of Pepsi’s while I took the kids to the restroom, we are just about to go in and dh announces he didn’t get the drinks because the only had water!
I was not impressed to say the least.
I thought the show was very entertaining and the kids loved it especially the fire
After the show we watched the parade and the men rode T of T again and we had a look around some of the shops.
We had an ADR for Hollywood and vine for the Fantasmic package at 6pm (originally 4.30 but thanks to some members on the restaurant board id changed it) I was a little worried 6pm would be too late as Fantasmic started at 8pm that night so we checked in at 5.30 and were told it was unlikely we would be seated before 6pm. We saw loads of people being turned away without ADR’s – this was a common occurrence at nearly every restaurant we went too.
We managed to get seated at 5.55pm and by this time I was feeling incredibly sick
I put it down to the heat and dehydration (dh’s fault remember) but I did not enjoy the food at all I managed to eat some of the cornbread though as its my absolute favourite ($82.57 total 4 TS credits)
After we had eaten we headed for Oscars and walked up to Fantasmic, last year we sat too near the front and got wet
so I missed a lot of the story. This time we got much better seats and I thought the show and the water effects were fantastic
we headed back to pop then for the rest of the evening.
Blizzard beach and Ohana’s tomorrow!
