Saturday 1st October

We awake today and the weather is not very nice at all we have lunch at pop before getting a cab to premium outlets ($20 incl tip)
Its absolutely throwing it down when we arrive and as we are dropped off near the Nike shop we go there 1st. dh buys a t-shirt for himself and we get two Nike sweatshirts for the kids they are both in the same size clothes now and for the 1st time ever I am asked at the checkout if they are twins dd is not impressed to say the least :rotfl:

Dh wants to have a look in banana republic as he gets 50% discount there with his gap uk work i/d, amazingly he doesn’t see anything he wants to buy :confused3
We have a wander in all the sports shops looking for trainers for ds but I can’t find anything suitable
For some reason my heart isn’t really into shopping today and the kids are playing up :guilty:
We head into a huge toyshop and come away with a flying tinkerbell and a buzz lightyear for their bedrooms at home.

It’s really hot again now and we decide to head back to pop and drop off our purchases and get the bus to DTD

We stop at pop and have a drink from the food court and before catching the bus to DTD. We get off at marketplace. I saw a lovely fleece on day 1 in a shop here so I was on a mission to get it tonight so we head there 1st.
Not one in my size how typical is that they even checked the stockroom
I was gutted. :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:
We looked in loads of shops (except the Lego store as I feared we would never get out) the kids loved the Lego figures.
It’s at this point I realise that I have no idea where Wolfgang pucks is! So we head for the information centre and get a map
That done we take a slow walk over to the Westside and have a look around yet more shops

We are seated almost immediately at Wolfgang’s thankfully as it starts raining again raining shortly after we arrive.
We are seated inside but by the patio door and every time it’s opened a gale force wind blows us around

The food makes up for the poor table though and has gone down as a legend in our family, we both order crab cakes as an appetizer and they are delicious then dh orders the steak (as usual) and I order the rosemary chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, well the chicken arrives and I am absolutely astounded to see it’s a WHOLE chicken !!!!!!
Now I like my food but I didn’t make much of a dent in that chicken.
I still manage to make room for dessert though (cheesecake for me and chocolate cake for dh)
The total bill would have been $ 114.65 for food and $28.44 for drinks

After the meal we walk back through the Westside to marketplace, we have a look in the memorabilia shop but decide we can’t afford anything in there!
We then go into world of Disney and buy the costumes for MNSSHP tomorrow night. Dd has a beautiful Alice in Wonderland costume and ds has a Peter Pan outfit pirate:
Total cost including Alice shoes for dd is $128.87
I also buy some stuff in the candy cauldron for the children that I am a childminder for $28.23 :grouphug:

We get back to pop at 10pm and head straight for bed in anticipation of a long day tomorrow
No photos today I left my camera in the room for some reason.

MGM and MNSSHP tomorrow :)

Enjoyed your report ~ Can't wait to read more.

A great shopping day Nat, glad to see that even though you couldn't eat all the chicken you amazingly had enough had room for the cheesecake :rotfl: :rotfl:

AMEN to Wolfgang's--my favorite "Not Quite Disney" restaurant. My dream is to eat upstairs some day.

We ate at Wolfgang's the first time out of convenience (DD needs to sit down for a drink NOW!) but needless to say we are have been back again since! YUM!

Your poor DD being asked if she was a 'twin' bless her

Ooh Wolfgang Pucks is great, so happy you liked it. Sounds like it might be worth buying costumes when we get there next year, hope there will be pictures soon,

Claire xx

Great day, We have never tried WP but I think after reading your report we may give it a whirl next year. Cant wait to see the kids in their outfits.
