Longing for favorite recipes

Any ideas on how I could find recipes for Aunt Selma's Salad (50's Primetime, no longer served) and Old Fasioned Lemon Layer Cake (Main St. Bakery - no longer served). They were two of our favorites and I'd love to be able to make them myself as a special treat to get us through those long times between visits. Thanks for any advice that you might offer.

Have you checked in any of the WDW cookbooks? I know a number of people who post here have them & have checked the index for recipes people have requested in the past. Another option would be to contact WDW directly & ask. If they still have the recipes "laying around" they might send them to you. (I recently contacted them via email on their site & they responded very quickly! Unfortunately, they didn't have what I asked for.)

Oh for sure contact WDW. When I was pregnant with DS I had such a craving for Casey's hot dogs, but it was a long way to Disney from Michigan. So I emailed WDW and the head chef emailed me back and told me what brand they used. Sea World also emailed me the recipe of a drink that they no longer serve.

When I needed a recipe for some place other than AKL (as I had their address, I simply went to the official Disney Website-Resorts-Past Guest...well, on this page I was able to email them directly. For the 'Subject' I think I just selected "Message for the WDW resort."
