Longest uninterrupted DVC stay?

For years we did three 7-day visits per year, but we've switched to two 11-night visits, one in late May and the other in early December.

The best part of the trip is waking up on day 5, and saying "We've still got a week left!" instead of "We leave in two days."

Just ended a 12 night stay at OKW room 1321 on October 4th. It was great. The 1 BR are fantastic. I'm spoiled now. Not sure I will ever be able to stay in a studio again.

We just got home from an 11 night stay in BWV (1BR expanded to 2BR when my parents came). We were at the BCV for 1 night before moving over to the BWV.

Not intending to be nosy, but may I ask if you are retired?

Yes, Travelbug, you may ask--and I am retired. Early retirement in my 40's--never a regret. And I truly appreciate every minute of it. (I do still work occasionally, but I take the whole winter off and a good part of the summer.)

I once stayed in BWV for 185 days...then I woke up.

We were at OKW 2BR 17 nights waiting for BWV to open the checked int BWV for soft opening for $$$ for 4 nights in a 2 BR preferred so we could say we opened it. Missed out on being first to check in by one fast lady. Only problem was the paint still had the freshly painted odor.

On several occasions, we've stayed at OKW, BWV and most recently, BCV, in a 2 bedroom, for between 13 and 18 days. We have enough points that we hope, someday, when we reach retirement age, God willing, to stay in a 1 bedroom during the off-season for 6 to 8 weeks!

Hey Stinson - How are you doing!! Hope to be your neighbor once again for those 6 to 8 weeks!!! We made it through the Millenium at BWV, why not retirement at????? I pick.....OKW for the size and by then I will relax a bit more and play alot of golf.

14 nights in a 1 BR in Old Key West in October. Weather was 80 degrees and sunny basically the whole time. We have never returned from a vacation feeling more relaxed and happy than that time. Boo hoo, now I miss OKW!
