My family has always wished to reach the elusive two week stay at our favorite resort, and will finally (flirted with it on a few occasions) be doing so next June at OKW.

This led me to wonder, what's the record? :confused3

It's certain that some have eclipsed the 14 night plateau, especially those visiting from overseas. We met a wonderful family from Scotland two summers ago, and I seem to recall three weeks being mentioned.

Let's hear from you folks---the only rule is a continuous stay at a single resort. Split stays need not apply. :)

We've done 19 nights at OKW and 19 at Kidani on separate vacations. We've had longer trips, but those have a split in them.

You'll have to find the thread by the guy who is traveling around the world with his wife, mostly staying in timeshares. They've had some lengthy visits to DVC resorts mixed in their travels. I don't recall the longest to date.

We're contemplating a 15 day stay during January, 2015....not sure yet if it will be 15 days at one resort. DH is retiring January, 2014 and we do have a five day stay booked for January,2014.....but, with three granddaughters arriving in late November and early December, 2013...we need to be home at least three weeks in January!!!!

We just did 21 days at kidani ( October). We work half days in our room while there, love it!

15 nights at BLT. We did a 22 night DVC trip a few years back but split it between 3 resorts. If we're doing a longer trip we do like to split it so that we can try out different resorts.

My longest continuous stay was 18 nights at SSR - with 3 nights at OKW before hand.

I did 2 months several years ago but had to move a few times and had a timeshare outside the park for some of it. I'd had 2 vacations booked but ended up adding all the time in the middle last minute so I didn't have to go home and come back. Husband drove me down, stayed a few days, flew home and then came back for the end of it. Then we drove home together. It was during food and wine so I spent all the alone time doing as many cooking demos as I wanted with no one complaining that it was boring. Best vacation ever.

10 nights for us at OKW. As much as we love to go back - we are ready to come home after 8/9 nights for many reasons.

Perhaps when we are empty nesters, don't have a pet to worry about and a sick parent or my mil only has my dh so it's hard to leave her alone for a long period of time - we can relax and enjoy it even more (not that we are waiting or want a parent to pass or our big baby Rocco to be gone - no way).

21 days at 3 resorts. Each segment was like a new vacation.

Wow! You guys are my heroes! And as far as switching up resorts, like disneynutz did, I probably would also. Although I've done 12 nights (2 resorts), I haven't been lucky enough to do 21 YET! It sounds appealing. DH retires in June 2014-I'll suggest that to him.

This was an amazing thread! I believe they stayed in only timeshares for an entire year while traveling the country. I think they stayed 6 weeks in a DVC resort for one part. I can't find it though. Can anyone else find it?

Our record is 12 nights at the BWV (room 1094) in January/February 2012.

We are shooting for a 15 night stay in January of 2015. Or maybe March.

Our usual trip is 9 nights.

It seems as though 21 nights is the current continuous stay DVC high water mark! We're on our way with the 14 night stay, but there's always three weeks to shoot for in future years. :thumbsup2
