I'd vote for shorter at a deluxe. The schlep factor of the values just kills the vacation feel for me. I certainly don't live in luxurious conditions so vacationing in them makes it all the better for me
.
Also, I have come to find as I get older that bed comfort is a key factor in my overall vacation happiness. If I am not sleeping well, I won't have fun - it's as simple as that. I love my super comfy bed, and it makes me happy to go back to it after a long day at the park. So, I would much rather go deluxe for 4 or 5 days than value for 6 or 7.
If you are not as into the disney experience as your DW is, then I would say all the more reason to go deluxe. At least you'll have a lot of comfort and amenities to make your stay happier. Good luck in deciding!

) but it wears me out
. I would prefer the Poly for the ease of transportation especially with pre-schoolers ( we will be there in July) but DW thinks that it wouldn't feel like a vacation if we were only there 3 or 4 days.
