Longboat Key

Has anyone ever stayed at the Longboat Key Club near Sarasota? We are planning our annual mid-Feb trip to Florida and are considering staying there for a few days..... taking a break from Orlando. Any thoughts?

I have been to Longboat Key and we stayed at Colony Beach and Tennis Resort, it was lovely.. Make sure you hit St. Armand's Circle and have breakfast at the Blue Dolphin Cafe... great breakfast.... we always hit it when we are in the Sarasota area.

I have not stayed at the resort you are talking about but from what I saw most places were lovely..

I've never been there but it sounds like a great place to visit.

I've never been there but used to work for the developers of that community. I'm sure it's beautiful.
