It seems most of your wait lists came through quickly after being placed on it. What's the longest you've had to wait for the list to come through? When should I start being concerned about a July 06 wait list?

I waited for a BWV SV 2 bedroom for about 2 months. This was for an August ressie. (We had 2 SV studios, so we had something, but we had an add on and so we did have some extra points to use :) )

I also was on a waitlist for a SV studio for about 3 months for a September/October ressie and it never came through. For that one, I had a PV studio.

What are you waiting for?

Bobbi :)

I'm going on 2 weeks for a last minute trip to BWV in March. Chances are slim since its a standard view studio during spring break.

We decided to split our 2BR at BCV into a 1BR & studio, 7/2/06-7/8/06, so half of the party could use the Dining Plan. As it stands, we already have it split 7/5-7/7, and are wait listed for 7/2-7/4

This seems like an expensive way to get the meal plan. Per my calculations, it is an extra 37 points so at the average rental rate of $10... you are paying an extra $370. For the same money, one person could get an AP and a DDE card which would probably give you a lower overall food bill, plus free admission for one.

With the 2BR... you are guaranteed that both the 1BR/Studio will be together. I suppose this could be either an advantage, or disadvantage depending on how much privacy you want (especially if you are using the hide-a-bed in the LR.

I had already worked that out, and mentioned it in a previous thread (below) - I was really wanting to discuss the wait list possibilities on this thread. - Thanks, tho!

>>Sounds crazy, but here's what we're considering:

Party of 6, 3 guys 16yo, 16yo, adult; 3 girls, 20, 20, adult.

The guys like to eat, and love the DDP concept. Girls think they would not get the value. In fact, the female adult may not even go to the parks, opting for the BCV exercise room, walking trail, and Stormalong; probably will hit CS for meals, or eat nice salad at TS restaurants.

So, since we have booked a BCV 2-bedroom villa, we are considering splitting our reservation into a 1BR villa and Studio, so that only half of the party needs to buy the DDP.

It will cost me an additional 30 points ..., which I could probably otherwise rent for $300.

Cost for the 3 girls for DDP, had they wanted it would have been $684.

So, am I looking at it correctly that I would break even as long as the three girls come close to eating on $384? Plus, they could eat some of our appetizers and desserts when they do go to the TS restarants with us.<<<
