First time I went to 'Ohana was in 1996 and have been back every trip to Orlando. I love the food though not always everything that they have presented. We went during the year (1997) when they had a wok full of mushy stir fried vegitables and salmon wrapped in bannana leaves.
This year I was interested in seeing how the new menu items were. I took along my borther and sister-in-law who were on their very first trip to WDW.
The new fried won-ton skins are okay, nothing spectacular but were good with the dipping sauce. The chicken wings are good as far as chicken wings go, I am not a huge fan of them anywhere. The salad was really good and plentiful. I am not a huge shrimp fan though I can really like them depending on how they are prepared. I never ate the peel and eat skewered shrimp on the skewers. The new shrimp were smaller but excellent in the sauce, but are still messy ;) . We all thought the new potatoes were fine though nothing special and not really the right item to accompany this kind of meal. Would have been good with a ham or some baked chicken.
The new stir fried vegetables were excellent, lightyears ahead of the ones they had in the wok and they went well with the meats and would have been great with some rice. The sausages seem to be the same they had years ago, innoffensive and bland. The Turkey was fine but not super flavorful as usual. The steak and pork were awesome. We were all full before the new dessert was brought. I am not a fan of bread pudding but this was good. I still prefered the pineapple and caramel sauce.
Overall 'Ohana is still excellent and I wouldn't miss it on any trip. There is always lots of good things to eat there even if they change them around. The newbies loved it as well. :)

Thanks for the review!

We're staying at the Poly this trip and are still up in the air as to whether we will try the dinner at 'Ohana. I think it will depend on how the trip goes. Our last two trip we ended the trip with the character breakfast there before getting on the road for home. We had our one last visit with Mickey before heanding back to reality. :(

Thanks for the review! We're gonna eat at 'Ohanna in 10 days! Really glad to see that its still good!!

Thanks for posting this. I have never eaten there before in all my trips! I have decided I want to try it for my next trip in March :)

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for posting.

Thanks for the review! Can't wait to try this new menu!

We also just ate there last week. It was our second time (first was 5 years ago). We really liked the meal. It was one of our favorites. We were seated at a window table with a great view. I loved almost all parts of the meal. I normally dont like wings, but I ate all of these. We are both (wife and I) from Louisiana and really liked the shrimp. My wife ate the shrimp as her main part of dinner. I agree about the sausage. I normally love good sausage, but I thought these were nothing special. A bit tough actually.

I loved the pork and turkey. The steak was a bit undercooked for me. Overall, I would highly recommend it. We tried to get a second ADR while we were there, but it was all booked up. (For really good steak go to LeCellier or CA Grill) Had the tenderloin at both and they were both equally incredible.
