Long time..now a mom!!!

It has been a while since I have posted. As my last post a couple of months ago has stated My husband and I decided to adopt. We have accepted a referral for a 2 year old boy from Russia. We travel October to meet him and November to bring him home. We have to wait 1 year to travel in order to let him adjust...but rest assured next year he will have his lanyard on!!!

Well hopefully soon things will calm down and I can start with pin trading again. I have so many pins in my traders/sellers. Most of the pins I have for trade are becoming old...Any suggestions on "cleaning house"?

Wanted to tell you how wonderful your life will be. Some close friends of my sister traveled to Russia 5 years ago and adopted three little sisters, and a lady we teach with traveled with her dad 3 years ago and adopted a beautiful little girl also. They all felt it was a most incredible experience - one which changed their lives. You should see all these little girls now- they have adapted wonderfully and enriched the lives of all who encounter them. Have a safe trip and congratulations. Caroline

Congratulations Connie!! I hope that your little addition adjusts smoothly to life here in the states! My best friend has adopted two children from Russia (2 years apart) and they both are adjusting wonderfully (although her daughter, recently adopted was terrified of automobiles for a week).

Good luck to you and Randy both!! Hope to hear more from you. Please post pictures (or e-mail them to me) when you get to see your new child!

Eddie and I are so happy for both of you...I'll bet the time can't move fast enough...safe trip over there and back..our prayers will be w/ you...and we can't wait to meet the new addition next year....though hopefully we will have pictures sooner then that..
