I joined the DIS in Jan 2000 but after the big crash my join date became Feb 2000.

I have one of the DIS t-shirts mentioned.

I felt like such a newbie when I joined........now I'm quite the oldie!!!

I don't think my join date was changed with the crash, but I did lose about seventy posts I think. However, I remember many many people lost hundreds of posts so I figured my number was good.

I had been on the RADP group and was on it through a site that put the posts in format like any message board does now. However, that site went to pay and trying to read the posts after that on newsgroups was such a pain! I went looking for another site, and low and behold I used the link I already had on a personal Disney site I had made for my family. lol It always helps to check your own links! rofl!
I think when I had originally linked to Pete he may have just been getting the message boards started or I just missed it. I was glad to find this message board later though! Thanks Pete!

I was around in the old days, too, before the crash.

When Google celebrated its 10th anniversary, their archives were available for searching. And what did I search? DisBoards, of course! It was so cool to see the old boards once again. I loved it! Lots of memories!
