Long tickets like UK visitors get

Hi

Anyone know if there is anything similar to the special longer (14 day) wdw tickets that UK visitors are eligible for that Australians can buy? I am looking at my options for longer trips and splitting it up with side trips in the middle etc and the 14 day expiry does not seem long enough for some itineraries whereas other itineraries I am considering would simply mean a big longer stay and wdw. Basically I am still looking at longs of plans but flying from so far away I wish we had some of the options that I see for uk visitors.

We have bought AP's twice. One trip, we went to WDW for 3 weeks. Last year, we went for 6. Basically it was all at WDW except for a Disney Cruise and two days at Sea World :) How long will you be there? Will you be returning within a year. An AP is great as you can get perks like Merchandise Discounts, Room Discounts at certain times of the year,

I haven't booked flights yet, still trying to balance how long I want to go for with the realities of budget and how long I could get off from work in one block. It would definitely be a one time trip. The cost of flights to the east side of North America is just so expensive I would have trouble justifying it twice in 12 months (despite the temptation).

I was thinking about AP and wondering it I would get enough value from the extras like accommodation discounts. Not sure how it works buying the pass from Australia in terms of activating it to get bookings etc at the reduced rates.

Will have to investigate the uk travel agent.

So much envy with that 6 week trip!

Thank you. The trip was amazing!

As for the AP, it could be worth it, depending on your length of stay. Room discounts aren't always available through the entire year but when they are, you can save up to 30% which often pays for your pass entirely.

I have found that the AP Accommodation discounts cover the time periods as the general public discounts but they are usually 5% deeper and are released at different times.

you can book the room using the AP discount and then when you are actually on property you go down to reception and show them the AP - best if at check in but they will tolerate you going and collecting it and coming back.

I am not sure I would say the room discount covers your pass entirely - but you would have to do your numbers - depends on how many people in your group (and there are no child prices on AP), room type, length of trip etc. time to whip out the excel spreadsheet and compare the options and numbers.
