Long Term Parking JFK Airport

Can someone recommend a parking lot (secures, outside airport) at JFK. Need to park for two weeks. Priced car services and with gas surcharges, early AM pick up and tolls, it is pricey. We are three adults and one child.

I use AviStar at lga and never had an issuse with their company they even have the car wating with the heat on for me my cuz uses them at JFK and the have a shutle bus to the aiport and parking is somthing like $ 15.00. if you dont mind me asking from to get to the airport.

with Avistar or the offsite locations, how do they know when you arrive so they can pick you up from terminal back to car? do you call upon arrival?

is there an "official" jfk long term parking or all available ones are the privately run companies?

Lat 2 times I flew from JFK, i used JFK smartpark. You call them when you land.
JFK does have a long term parking lot, but if you don't get a spot close to the airtrain it can be a pain.

After reading this thread this morning, I goggled Avistar and SmartPark and actually made the reservation for SmartPark. I'm hoping it works out well.

I saw mixed reviews for both.
