Long shot: the washing machine at the DVC villas

Does anyone know if you can buy any of those washer/dryers like they have in the villas in the UK? It would be so practical for us.

Oh happy days, reminds me of ours when we used to live in DC, very practical, although ours developed a fault and it started to get very wet in the cupboard. Hubby (boyfriend at the time) decided that the vent tube must be blocked with fluff. So stuffed his arm up the tube to pull out the fluff, felt a blockage and yanked on it, nearly fell off his ladder when I very large dead bird came out. No problems with damp after that.

Anyway I digress I think it is just a piece of apparatus that you use to mount the machines, I think you can get something similar to do the same with British washing machines and dryers.

I asked this question also upon our return from our first stay at SSR.

No one seemed to know where I could get one from in the UK.

I did manage to find a distributer in the US, but if memory serves me right the shipping/tax costs seemed to outweight my love for the machine

I remember Costco selling american washers and driers when they first opened over here, don't know if they still sell them though

I fell in love with the laundry room at an offsie villa we stayed at so know how you feel.

Costco definitely just have the uk sort.

I think they don't comply with EU regs regarding energy consumption or something like that so don't sell them here.
