I just looked this up on the Farmer's Almanac site - of course, I'm sure it isn't 100% - but given that I'll be at WDW March 9-13, this is not good news:

March, 2004, Forecasts for
Region 5: Florida

Average Temperature: 68° (1° above avg.);

Precipitation: 6.5" (4" above avg.)

March 1-8: Showers, cool

March 9-14: Heavy rain

March 15-21: Sunny

March 22-31: Showers, then sunny

 Anyone have rainy day at the parks advice??????

I wouldn't take the reports too seriously. It rains on & off a lot in Disneyworld. Its great when it does, because often, the crowds leave and you can practically walk on every ride :) I've been at the MK in a really terrential downpour and barely go wet because was on and off rides so much.

:)

Considering Farmers Almanac said that we would have more snow this winter than we did last winter (last winter we had over a foot in EVERY storm, and the storms came every couple days) and we've had hardly any snow at all:mad: , I wouldn't rely too heavily on what they say. I've never believed them, simply listened to what is said on the news for a good laugh. At least here in NH, our weather is typically the opposite of what they say it will be. The parks aren't that bad in the rain, because so much is covered. And with all the water rides you'll be wet anyway. Don't worry too much until you see the actual forecast the day or so before you leave. Then let yourself worry. Just remember to pack a waterproof jacket.

I remember years ago when I got married in the Cayman Islands.
My wife to be was concerned about the weather at sunset on the day of our wedding. She asked our minister what he thought, seeing that he was a native....his reply, "Only fools....and tourist try to predict the weather". I had to chuckle at that because he was right.

Don't worry, be happy!

you're right, it's like life - you never know what's going to happen and you've got to just roll with it (baby) well, now, I'm quoting 80s music - so its time to go!!!

I do feel much better after y'all gave me the competitive idea that the parks will be less crowded...now I'm actually hoping it rains!!!! See how impressionable I can be?::yes::

Crossing fingers for no rain on my trip in May...

During our last WDW vacation we were nearly washed away to sea. It rained for 5 days straight!!!! People around us were crying about it ruining their vacation but we carried on. We did everything we wanted to with the longest wait time 20 minutes. Although I don't want it to rain during my next visit - it wasn't all negative. The only thing that wasn't fun was the blasting air conditioning in the stores. brrrrr...

I hope all of you all have great weather on your trip! Don't worry about what the almanac says - the weather forecast was saying rain for us for 4 days straight right before we left and it only ended up raining one night while we there and that is why we were sleeping anyways :D I think when it comes to the weather it is more like a wait and see thing!
