Jana (gemmie214) and I ran into Quentin back in May in Epcot. I asked where he was hanging his hat back then and he said he felt best not posting much while he was a CM.

Hi.
I really don't like doing any huge announcements. So, its been quite awhile since I've been away. The reasons why I really don't post here that often is because I felt once I became a CM, I would be bombarded with questions or be considered a "voice" of the Mouse. I had a discussion with another CM about this in private and he recommended me not to reveal certain things about my job. Cast Members have been terminated for blurting out private information on message boards, so I really couldn't take that risk.
I also felt being critical about the company would be a conflict of interest for me. I'm not 100% pleased with how business is done at the WDC these days, but talking about what I'm upset is something I could get away with before becoming a CM. Not in my Disney costume.
Another reason why I left is that the DIS...how can I say it is getting BIG these days. If you are not following a board like this or posting on a regular basis, you kind of get lost in the shuffle. Now that I started to view the CB again, its kind of hard for me to get "back in". It's been god knows how long its been since I posted here. Like a soap opera, if you miss some episodes, you miss a lot.
However, while the size of the boards are going up, on the CB, it feels good to see people recoginze you after a 5 Month departure. Looks like Ohana comes into play now. "No one e..." well, most of you folks can finish that.
I can't promise if I will start posting here again, but if I do, I'll let you know right away that my attiude of the internet has changed a bit. I'm a lot more miffiled when people speak using shorthand that's popular these days. I'm also not amused with the abuse of signatures when people post. I've been to Dizpins and there are people that have FOUR images in their posts...AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT! Talk about Bandwidth deprivation!
Anyway, before I start sounding more angry, The first online "family" I joined has found me again. I hope to start posting a bit...maybe starting out on the CM only board.
