Wondering which place would be best to see Santa with the shortest line?

I would have loved to see him at GCH (where we're staying) but he does not come until Thanksgiving! Darn - we miss him by two days...:rolleyes1

If you had to choice only one Santa photo op, keeping in mind the line - would you choose Santa at DCA or at Reindeer Round-up?

And where in DCA is Santa? Thanks in advance!:goodvibes

Definitely Reindeer Roundup!! The setting is so pretty. It's a little cabin all fitted out for Christmas, including "baked" goods in the little kitchen. If you go early, the line isn't bad, though I've not gone during the busiest times (I go the weekend before Thanksgiving). You get a nice picture with Santa in front of the fireplace, as I recall. I'll have to go look up my pictures now and see.

In DCA, Santa is on the pier. Not really my idea of Christmasy, but it's fun.

If I had to pick one, I would pick the one at the roundup. Like the PP said, the setting is just a ton better. The one in DCA is just in a little gazebo across the water from Screamin'. It's decorated, but just doesn't have that "santa" feel. The one in the roundup is an adorable cabin fully decked out for the holidays, plus you get to see the reindeer. The line wasn't too bad at all..maybe 10 minutes and that's a stretch.

10min? That sounds perfect...thanks for sharing the beautiful pics!:goodvibes

Oooo, great pictures!!

I found one, but the quality is bad so my apologies. Santa has a big chair thing so you can sit with him or stand. My sister brought her school mascot so she could show the kids in her class all the places Oscar went, LOL.
