On our last trip my husband and brother discovered a long lasting and inexpensive candy treat while at the Main Street Confectionary. If you're a taffy fan, go over to the taffy bin and grab the smallest bag. It comes to just over $2.00. Then STUFF IT UNTIL IT'S OVER FLOWING! The CM standing there said to do this and you get the most out of that bag and candy! He had the CM then put the taffy bag in a Disney bag so that he could carry it back and it could spill over. When DH got back to our room, he counted 99 pieces...but he wasn't sure if my dad had eaten any before that. It was a good treat and we are still chewing the remaining 9-10 pieces! And a trick to know if the taffy gets hard...microwave it for about 5-7 seconds and it softens right up! We like Donald Duck Lemon and Goofy Lime! I'm sure that the larger sized bags would be great for families who love taffy, but the small bag would be all you need if you just like to have a sweet fix with one or two here and there!
Cool! Thanks for the tip! I didnt know you could soften it up. We bought a box of taffy from Goofys Candy company once that lasted forever and I ended up throwing it away cause it got hard!
