Oh my goodness, your post brought back a few college day memories. Sorry, I don't have the recipe.

thats exactly how we make it...I just hope your "pt" stands for parts, not pint LOL...or it'd be a HECK of a big LIIT!

When I made them, I went a little lighter on the tequila and the gin, and a bit heavier on the rum and vodka. I used the "One, one thousand, two, one thousand" count method to pour.
Mine was more like
1.3 oz vodka ( 4 count pour)
1.3 oz rum (4 count pour)
.7 oz gin (2 count pour)
.7 oz tequila ( 2 count pour)
1 oz triple sec ( 3 count pour)
1.5 oz Sweet and Sour mix ( 4 count pour with an extra "one thous")
Splash of cola
garnish with a lemon wedge.

Thanks! That looks right.

"Pint" looks okay too!

I got a bottle of Tanqueray gin for Xmas (no idea why) and the only thing I like with gin is Long Island Iced Teas. Snow is coming and that's the only excuse I needed!

I was in my 20's the first time I tried one. I thought it was like a spiked ice tea. Dh and I went out to dinner and I had one and boy did it go down easily so I ordered another and it went down equally well. I didn't even feel it until we got up to leave and the world began rotating :flower1: very quickly. I don't think I've had one in the past 20 years but I may need to try CC's recipe for the Falcons/Philly game on Sunday. This time I'll stop at one :flower:

oh my! yes parts and not pints!!! :earseek: :rotfl:

Hook the dogs to the sled and come on over!

We've already got a pitcher of margaritas chilling in the fridge and enough ingredients to make gallons of Long Island Iced Teas. We're doing nachos & tortilla soup for supper...Mexican is always the perfect antidote to winter weather, IMHO!

Most places around here make a Long Island Tea like this:
.5oz Vodka
.5oz Gin
.5oz Rum
.5oz Triple Sec
3 oz Sweet & Sour
splash coke, lemon garnish

To make Texas Tea you use tequila instead of rum & add .5oz bourbon.

Bumping this for a Friday night

I made this one the last night and wow!!!! mmmmm

Its called a Nuclear Iced Tea

1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz gin
1/2 oz rum
1/2 oz triple sec
1 oz melon liqueur
sweet and sour mix
7-Up® soda

Method
Pour all ingredients (except sour mix) into an ice-filled collins glass. Almost-fill with sour mix, top with 7-up, and serve
