There was a hurricaine?! First family trip of 10...
rain never stopped us! We all had the same approach
to Faye...Faye who? Did the parks, including Blizzard
Beach, everyday...rain or not...IT WAS GREAT TO
HANG WITH THE MOUSE!

Can't wait for the next trip!

Hi from WAY out East, We are in East Hampton.
Our home away from home is SSR. We love everything about it!
Our next trip is in December. We have been taking the kids to WDW every year since our first one was born but, they have never been during the holidays! Can't wait!!

Another Sayville res here...been a OKW member since 93' added on OKW, and added on again, and then again at SSR......I'm so glad to hear from all of you!I took some family down in March, leaving to go for grandson's first birthday the 25th( great excuse!) and a ten people family get away the day after Thanksgiving Lost my DH two years ago, but he did get to go to OKW one last trip, three monthes before he passed and that was truly his greatest gift...home away from home. If anyone from LI has imput or suggestions I do need them, because I still love DVC and its still my home away from home. Hope to see you! Denise

Thanks for the heads up! We're in Holbrook. Love SW and convenience of ISP! 200 points in VWL and 160 in BCV. Didn't even leave for our Oct. trip and booked already for May at VWL.

I live in Coram and I work in Bohemia - total of 550 points split between beach Club, Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge. Next to Disneyworld, Long Island is the 2nd happiest place in the world!

Two weeks in August @ OKW & SSR w/ Fay and my kidz

4-nites at F&W coming up 11/2-11/5(if the last nite waitlist comes thru at BWV!)

6 nites 11/30-12/5 at SSR for Osbourne Lights - our first time!!!

That might be a long wait. We booked SWA when the opened up over the summer and those fares were ridiculous.

I know, I waited for them to open the schedule, but I just couldn't book at those prices. I check almost daily....Jet Blue has better fares, but the thought of going to JFK is not appealing. Last resort, I'll just cancel and go in the summer.

Just got back from BWV. I was there with a friend from the 9th to the 12th. Trip would have been perfect, but the brutal heat and humidity put a major enough damper on it to make me vow NEVER again in October!

BTW - Woodmere, LI here, and nope, no BLT for us

Jetblue is already outrageous for April break. I have AKV booked for 4 nights right after Easter! WOO HOO , can't wait to get there......but Jetblue is asking WAY TOO MUCH . I'm waiting for fares from SW out of Islip, LI. I'm hoping it's not as high as Jetblue
