Long distance to WDW-do you drive or fly-why?

Following with interest. We have ~20 hours of driving time ahead of us for our upcoming trip. I figure that will work out to about 24 hours of travel time. I really wish we could drive straight through but dh will not hear of it. So I guess we'll be stopping somewhere in the middle. I do keep checking flights and it sure is tempting, but with a family of 6 it just isn't in the budget for this trip. I figure we'll try it this time and if it works out that just means we can go more often (since driving is cheaper). If it doesn't work out, then we know we need to work an extra $2000 into the budget for plane tickets!
