Long Days?

I am trying to plan out my week in Orlando and was curious how long it takes to do the two parks. We are dedicating one day for each, but the day we are doing US we have a dinner reservation at 6:30, so we'd have to leave around 4pm I am thinking. If we arrived around 11am and left at 4pm do you think we'd feel rushed? I know everyone has different touring styles... Our day for IOA is pretty open so no problems there. Thanks for any input

Arriving at 11 would mean you are insane. When are you going (date)? You probably need to arrive at 8:30, then you might not stay until 4, but you will see a lot more and not feel rushed (as badly)

Unless of course you are staying at an on-site hotel? Then you could get there at 11 and use FOTL and be fine.

We're going the last week of Septmeber, planning so far has US on Tuesday and IOA on Saturday.

September might not be too bad then, I would still go early just because you can be sure and get a few rides in before the crowds get there, but it shouldnt be bad, you can do it. Saturday at IOA will be crowded tho, definitely get there early that day.

What she's talking about, is 11am - 4pm is rush hour at the parks. Everyone sleeps in and arrives at that time. September is very light when it comes to crowds, you'll have no problems. But it's still a good idea to show up early. The parking garage opens at 8am. Try to wake up early and show up at this time. The reward for waiting at the gate is a front seat ride on Hulk, a ride on Pteranondon Flyers before the kid rule, and front seat rides on Deuling Dragons.

I would also strongly advise you get there early, as others have said it won't be too bad crowd wise but as you only have a few hours a good early start is essential.
