Long Day For VS015 Passengers

Hi,
VS015 was almost 9 hours late today, even longer delay than yesterday. Looks like with the stricter security in the USA on arrival it could be gone 4am before some people get to their hotel rooms. Hope for those of you travelling this weekend things improve.

Whilst I have driven in Orlando on at least 9 holidays we now will arrive at MCO after 11pm and after customs I bet I will not have my hire card before 12.30am Sunday, Whilst the drink is free I will not risk it driving in Olando with even a little plonk inside me.

What impressess me is the organisation at GATWICK everyone knows the new rules now, even W H Smith you buy a bottled water or Newspaper and they ask you if you are going to USA and that you will habe to give it up before the gate.

Liquids are all out, Duty free is empty and if you buy Ciggies you mustent open them or they take them off you, any none liquid items but have a duty free receipt with it.

The VS016 due in at 08:45 this morning is not even expected till 16:30! If no extra planes are brought in the flights are going to continue being delayed for ages!

Currently it seems they loose an hour each day, and possiblly the Flight crews then run out of hours, they seem to know the schdule everything form the website to the boards are all exactly the same so it appears they know exactlly whats happening, but if they loose an hour each day at some point its either a plane cancellation or an extra plane required?????

Only a few people here now they called a lot of UC customers this morning saying they could come later, we had left before they called, the people here earlier on diffierent flights had bottles of Champers in buckets!
