Hi Everyone,

I am a new poster, but have been checking out the boards for some time to help plan my upcoming Disney Trip.

We will be flying into Long Beach Airport October 3rd. A friend is picking us up at the airport and we'll be spending the week end with her.

She will drop us off at DLR on Monday morning. We'll be staying at the Camelot Inn until Saturday Morning (the 11th)

My question is about transportation from Camelot Inn to Long Beach Airport on Saturday Morning.

Thus far I have found 2 services that will transport (Prime Time and Super Shuttle) both are about the same price. Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies, or can you recommend a different company?

I appreciate the information. And all the information you all have given me thus far.

we booked our hotel through alaska and our using Karmel Shuttle i think from LGB to Camelot....

I have heard good and bad stories about Super Shuttle. They seem to be ok for most people; just don't expect to get there really fast. There's a coupon on this website for $2.00 off per person, one way, when you book ahead of time; it's one of the last coupons, way down the page: http://www.anaheimoc.org/Articles/Archive/Webpage10153.asp

Otherwise, you can take a taxi. Sometimes the hotel will have coupons for the $40 flat rate to the airport. Otherwise, it usually runs around $50-60. Almost worth it, really, for your own dedicated vehicle.

Thanks so much for the information.

So far Karmel is the most expensive and Prime Time is the cheapest.

Avalon, I see we are from the same area. I'm in Renton. We use Super Shuttle to SeaTac and have always been happy with them.

It's actually Shuttle Express to SeaTac. Super Shuttle is different. We used them in SanFrancisco over a year ago and they were ok. They were a bit late getting us from our hotel, but got us to the airport in time.

We are using Prime Time, for the first time, in 10 days. Up until this point, going with limo service has been cheaper for our family of 8. I sure hope we are not disappointed.

Hey, Grumpy, I used to live on East Hill in Kent, near Panther Lake. Back then, I WAS the super shuttle for my extended family! :rotfl: We'd drop off and pick up, store cars at our house, or even drop their car off in hourly parking just before their flight landed, then call their cells to tell them what parking space they were in. Heh, I don't really miss that!

Well, living in Renton, only 15 minutes for the airport, our driveway often becomes "airport" parking. LOL

I grew up in Auburn. From 1990-1997 I lived a block off of Lake Meridian. Then we moved out to Black Diamond from 1997-2004 (the only place we could afford a house :) and now Renton. I've been all over S. King County at this point! It's nice to "meet" you.

And Dahlia, you are right it is Shuttle Express. I think it may be because we are so close to the airport (we are always the last pick ups), but we've always been pleased with their service.

Nice to "meet" you, too! We lived there 1989- 1998. I could have run into you at Lake Meridian Park with my oldest DD; that was one of our favorite places (she called it the "boat playground!") and my absolute favorite place to walk was the Soos Creek trail by the Lake Meridian trailhead. I still miss that walk.
