This is awful. It's horrific that people can do this, I hope the reports of fatalities are exaggerated. :( People can be truly evil sometimes...

On a far less important point, me (and tens of thousands of others) are meant to be travelling to London tomorrow morning for the Queen concert - many are already in London. Now everyone's in a panic about whether it will even happen, how to get there if it does and whether to risk going just for a concert?

According to CEEFAX, the concert has been postponed

Words can't express the sorrow felt, here, in another London. :sad1: God bless you and keep you in His hands.

Another thank you for the messages of concern and support. It took me a bit longer to get home from work tonite but at least my family was safe and sound when I did. I gave my DD an extra hug.

My heart breaks for those killed and injured and for those whose lives have been irrevocably changed today (that's most of us, I think).

god bless you all and all are in my prayers. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in London :sad2:

Relieved you made it home safe and sound,... and extra huggs and love for all.
What a deja vu!!

Gary: Could you please fix your signature -- it's distorting the screen for those of us with older eyes that we need to keep our screen resolution at 1024x768. Thanks. Just putting a carriage return between the two images should do the trick.

You know, it's amazing. This morning, I was awakened by hearing my sister answer the phone and saying, "Did you hear the news?"

4 years ago this September, I awoke to my father saying to me, "Did you hear the news?"

I would like to stop waking up to these words. :(

To everyone in the UK, your support and friendship has been so encouraging and uplifting throughout the last few years. I'm so sad it's now time for us to return the favor, but I'm glad we can show our friends abroad that we care deeply for you and pray for your safety and strength.

I know exactly how you feel and hearing the news of your attacks took me back to the time and place and just what I was doing on that dreadful day in September! A day I will never forget!!

You have my sympathies and my prayers!! :grouphug:
