Everything is really starting to come together, I've got my pounds and euros and I bought an adaptor for my electronics. Now it's time to start thinking about packing.

Yipes! I sure hope things have calmed down by the time we get there! I lived through riots once in my life and that was quite enough, thank you!!

OK, I took today off from work so I could wait for our box! My boss thought I was crazy, but, after I explained to him that it was filled with Gold and Diamonds and other miraculous stuffings, he graciously allowed me to take the day off (or I all ready had today off as a scheduled day off).

OK, I took today off from work so I could wait for our box! My boss thought I was crazy, but, after I explained to him that it was filled with Gold and Diamonds and other miraculous stuffings, he graciously allowed me to take the day off (or I all ready had today off as a scheduled day off).

The amount of time that we have all spent on "Box Watch 2011" you would think that was true about the gold and diamonds.

I just realized that I have two small trips for work over the next couple of weeks. I'll be in KS next week for a couple of days and then an overnight to another part of GA the following week....and then I leave for London the next week. That realization just made the departure date seem even closer somehow.

Let's hope and pray that the riots will be well under control by that time...

6:45 PM EDT, a call from home reports a box with the correct markings has just arrived at home.

Think I shall go investigate.

My box arrived a little squished, but the contents seem to be ok. My favorite part about reading up on the itinerary is knowing that the 7th day when most people go back to the airport, we're still getting a couple more days!

I'm thrilled that I have my box, but I'm still waiting for my Buckingham Palace tour ticket!
