Doesn't she look absolutely pathetic? She was sitting with all her girl cousins, all smiling and I told them to make a funny face and that's what she came up with.

I thought some one was pinching her - HARD - with a twist.
:lmao:

Glad it was just a put on.

Sorry, didn't update sooner, but YES!!! I found her out in the yard yesterday morning(so she *did* get out). I went out it the back-yard and chirped (hard to describe but this cat doesn't really meow, she chirps) and *listened* (Thank GOODNESS DumbDumbbarksALot next-door had finally shut up) and I heard an odd noise. I did it again and heard it again and started walking in that general direction.

And this little head slowly poked out from behind some plywood leaning up against the fence. She wouldn't come out, was happy to see me, but was kind of traumatized.

I had my cell-phone with me and called DH, said "bring the cat-food can (we put dry food in it and shake it to get her to come)"

DH says "Where are you?"

"In the back yard!"

He came out, I shook the can, and eventually poured some food in the lid. And KitKat ventured out to get some. I scooped her up, said the DH "Get the door", he said "I left it open" and hurried into the house. Kit Kat was so freaked-out, I was afraid she would bolt.

She's been sleeping a lot and purring a LOT. Is very happy to be home after Her Big Adventure.

Thanks for asking ::yes::.
agnes!

Awwww, thank goodness! I remember when our dog escaped between the groomer's and the car. He was missing for 5 days! We thought for sure he wasn't coming home, but a really great guy who was a cemetary caretaker found him in his dog's doghouse at the cemetary. He was filthy and more than a little traumatized (it was December) but he's never run off since!
