LOL - Interesting conversation w/Disney Dining this morning

That's a very funny story. :)

The two things I hate about calling Disney dining are 1) going through all those pointless voice prompts, and 2) getting differents answers from each representitive. :)

Disney dining CMs are careful to say that you MAY be seated apart but the restaurant will do their best to put us together. And, they always have, but the chance exists that it may be impossible for a busy restaurant to do. The fact is: Sci Fi "cars" seats only two per row so it (or the restaurant itself) might not be the best choice for one parent/two kids. They also have regular tables in the back that do not seem to be very popular, they'd probably have no problem securing one of those.

Exactly. :thumbsup2 That's what I was trying to say.

OP - lol!

For those who are worried about their upcoming visit, I wouldn't get too upset. We have eaten at SciFi with odd numbers (3 or 5 guests) many, many times - never been told we might be seated separately, never have been seated separately. It might technically be a possibility, but it's not very likely.

For those with reservations at SciFi, go, have fun, try not to worry! ;)
