We have a 2 bedroom villa booked at BLT in February. We arrive Saturday morning via cruise transfer and have plans to spend the (only) remainder of the day at the Magic Kingdom.

I'm almost positive our room won't be ready when we check in about 10 - 11am, so we are going to drop our bags and head over to MK.

Where do we leave our luggage? At contemporary where the bus will drop us off or do we need to take it over to BLT ourselves (and if this is the case is it easier to just walk it across the ground floor or via the walkway?) or do we just take everything over to BLT and check in there??

Will the luggage be delivered to our room automatically or do we have to call?

TIA!

Depending on what time they kick you off the ship, you may be close to 10 am buy the time you have the hour drive from the Port. I would think you would want to leave your luggage with BLT. We went on the Fantasy last November, it was great! Have fun :)

Thanks, last year we got off the ship at 7:30am, we were at MCO and checked into the Hyatt by 9am, hoping for a smooth process this time around too :)

We just did this in March. The Disney Cruise bus dropped us off in front of the Contemporary. We left our bags at the front desk, went to eat something, then found out our room was ready. Unfortunately, due to some glitch, we got the text notification our room was ready, but it did not have the room # so I had to go back to the front desk. At this point, bell services just followed us to our room. Normally, once we got into our room, I would call bell services and they would deliver luggage. Have fun!!

you do check in at the CR - so that is where you leave your luggage - if you are arriving on the cruise shuttle and not driving.

the luggage you generally have to call for - unless you have the problem the pp did.
