Logan Airport vs. Bradley Airport

My fear of flying has not stopped me from enjoying my wonderful visitis to WDW, however, it has made the "getting there" part a little uneasy for me. The amount of times I have flown is certainly uncountable but we have always flown out of Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut. This year my family has decided to fly out of Logan in Boston, Massachusettes. The thing is, I just started to feel comfortable flying out of Bradley (actually being able to control the shaking of my legs and arms) and I am not sure if my fear of flying will relive itself as we leave from a new airport. My question is this: Is there a huge difference between the two that may chance my aquired courage (which is not much by the way lol) to become my regained terror for flying? I doubt anything can cure my fear of planes so I have always just "sucked it up" but I am feeling the same undescribable "stomach twisting" feeling like when I just started to fly. I know this must sound like a very silly question, but I have been in a plane well over 40 times and leaving from a new airport scares me a little.

P.S. I posted this here because it isn't very relavent to Disney yet at the same time resulting in a Disney vacation. :scratchin

A new airport can be scary. I normally flew out of Bradley. So you could imagine the shock I had leaving baggage claim at JFK when they wanted to compare my suitcase to my ticket!

Logan airport has become so much more easy to fly out of with the completion of the Ted Williams tunnel. It's much bigger than Bradley, but our experiences with Logan have never been bad. Give yourself a little extra time for parking and security, and you should be fine. Good luck

My brother lives in MA but they choose to travel to CT to leave from Bradley. They feel it is much easier to navigate and they just like it better than Logan.I love Bradley, it is so easy to find things and the new terminal is so nice. Have a great trip!

We have flown from Bradley the last few times. I haven't flown from Logan in 10 years and I know that it has changed a lot. But the thing that I don't like about it is the size. It is very intimidating to me. I like walking into Bradley and being 'right there'--the ticket counters, the security line and then the terminals. My anxiety about flying is more about that whole process so we take the extra driving time and go to Bradley.

I love Bradley Int. Airport for the size as well and find it very "comfortable." It is actually closer to us than Logan, however my family found the tickets we wanted for a cheaper price there. So we are driving out towards Boston (about an hour drive as opposed to the 30 minutes to Bradley.)

Thank you all for your posts!
